What a Bla.st!

February 25, 2007

That’s right, a Bla.st! That´s actually the URL of a new site run by Tim Bromhead from New Zealand, Just for the record, the “.st” thing stands for São Tomé & Principe, a small island located in the Gulf of Guinea, if you want, you can register a creative .st domain here, just as Tim did. Anyway, the purpose of this post is to introduce you this clever idea called bla.st!, it is a free visual card directory, where you can add your own card to the site for free, or if you prefer a better position you can pay as little as $0.02 per day. One of the best things of this site is that your card can be online from 1 day up to 10 years!. As I said, payment is optional. Each time you click a card, it will take you to the website or blog that owns that card. Here is a screenshot to show you how it works.

You can add as many cards as you want but hurry up, who know for how long this offer will be available. go for it! and make it a Bla.st!

Bla.st is definitively a clever idea and their brilliance is in allowing their customers the option to continue to jockey to be on the front page by paying more per day. Now I have to go so I can grab http://www.accordioni.st while it’s still available.

Hi George: glad that you found my guest blogger post on Scott’s blog to be useful. Your post will be an excellent resource for your blog readers.
Do you use trackbacks or a link back to the blogs from which you obtain your info? As I’m a guest blogger on Scott’s site, I don’t have access to trackback stats. However, giving credit by using a link back to source material within your post provides your readers with the opportunity to check that source and helps bloggers to discover other blogs.
Just a suggestion that helps route traffic to and from sites and boosts readership for everyone. Take care, Larry

Hi Larry! Thanks for stopping by! All the information I found interesting in other blogs and that is published here contains a link back to the main source. I found the information of Bla.st all by myself, surfing the web, that´s how I found your blog. Honor, to whom honor deserves. 🙂 Hope to see you around Larry.
