Use Free Stuff To Attract Visitors!

As you know I’m also a designer, I leke to design a lot of things, not just logos and brands, the other day I was just playing around with photoshop and I created a great brush set for PS, and I thought ” I should promote this set” so I decided to release it for public use, this gave me also a lot of visits to my blog, first I submitted the brush set to Deviantart and then to Brusheeze, which is a great site full of free Photoshop brushes. This was on saturday I think, and so farit has been download more than 1570 times just in Brusheezy, just imagine!.

What can you offer for free?
Well there are a lot of useful things that you can offer, for example if you’re a designer try to make:

  • Icons
  • Brushes
  • Templates
  • Themes
  • Vectors
  • Wallpapers
  • Logos

If you’re not a designer you can offer:

  • E-books
  • Guides
  • Any other kind of service

Also if you don’t know anything about design but you want to offer something like that you can always hire someone to do that for you, this will give to your blog more material for your visitors and will attract more and more each time, there are plenty of sites where you can submit your work to. Try it! You’ll also enjoy it!

    This is a great idea! What better way to get subscribers to your own blog, or any website for that matter, then by giving away free stuff. It’s been my own personal experience that most everyone is looking for “something for nothing”. Chances are, too, that if people find one thing free on your site they’ll stay on your site browsing for a while looking for more free stuff. Who knows, if your site is a blog site, maybe they’ll even read a few posts.
